OUR MOTIVATION

Our motivation at Evironment stems from a deep concern for not only our country, but also our planet and a desire to make a positive impact. We see the challenges of climate change and environmental destruction, and we know that we can't sit idly by. In Liberia, where we operate, the waste management issue, especially the ineffective disposal of plastic waste without proper management keep significantly increasing. This is alarming to us as it is contributing to the global climate crisis and economic pressures are keenly felt. That's why Evironment was founded in 2023, a social enterprise dedicated to combating plastic pollution and advancing climate resilience.

As part of the global effort to achieve the UN 2030 and the COP 2050 climate goals, Evironment is committed to addressing environmental challenges while promoting sustainable economic development and gender equality through raising public awareness, education campaigns and innovative recycling of plastic waste, contributing to a cleaner environment and fostering inclusive growth. By 2030, we aim to recycle 1,500,000 tons of plastic waste and 5,000,000 tons by 2050, turning it into useful everyday products like Brick, Flower Pots, Decorating Tiles, and Plaque/Tablets. We believe that every piece of plastic we divert from landfills and oceans is a step towards a cleaner, healthier planet.

But our work goes beyond just recycling. We're committed to educating and empowering local communities, helping them understand the importance of environmental stewardship and providing them with the tools they need to take action. From awareness campaigns to hands-on waste management initiatives, we're making a difference one community at a time. In just one year of operation, we've already recycled over 500 tons of plastic waste and reached over 65,000 people in 20 communities. And we're just getting started. With your support, we can continue to grow and expand our impact, creating a brighter future for generations to come. Join us in the fight against climate change and together, let's build a more sustainable world.
